Onyinye Ubah

I started balding badly due to the stress at work . Over time, I noticed the centre of my head was losing hair. I went to the hair store and bought the products I could find. Still, I was still curious to get products here in the United States that can grow hair and also contain natural ingredients such as herbs and essential oils. It was in the process of my curiousity I made further research on organic hair treatment. During the lockdown, I went to the organic shops and started buying ingredients that I needed. I made my first product and used it on my hair. The result was amazing! I noticed the baldness was filling back up. I gave few of my friends and coworkers to try it out and the result was amazing as well. It was their testimony that made me more convinced that my oil works.

Afterwards, the encouragement began pouring in for me to start it as a business. I remember when I was growing up in Nigeria, my dad would always tell me to think about starting a business. Initially, I never wanted a business, but when I saw my close friends having their own businesses, I was motivated to start mine.

Talking about my products, Chebe is the hair secret of an African ethnic group in Chad. They are known to have very long naturally coarse hair that famously grow pass their rear end. Their hair growth oil is made from natural cold pressed oils, herbs and essential oils that can penetrate deep down into the hair shafts to grow a healthy hair by filling in bald areas. It also thickens thinning hair and stops shedding of hair too.

My initial capital was about $5000, just to make sure I got all the ingredient I needed. With constant research, I found myself buying more. Also my boyfriend has also invested in it which has boosted the production very well. In fact, his support has boosted my morale to pursue this business. The great reviews I get from my clients has been tremendous.

We also have our facial oil which is called Glow Facial Oil Serum Glow Facial Oil is great for all skin types. The oil helps with hydration, fights acne, reduce pores, brightening of dark spots, acne marks.
The Oil is made with an Antioxidant formula such as Rose, Tumeric, Tea tree, and Jojoba oil for dry skin, oily/Comb skin, redness, and skin blemish. This face oil will help congested skin without clogging pores.
The non-greasy antioxidant oil quickly absorbs into your skin to promote a glowing skin. It noticeably improves the look of acne-prone skin. and also help with hyper-pigmentation by brightening the skin.

Recently, I took a break from my job to focus on my business. It’s been worth it. Since growing in this business, I get my inspiration from female Bosses around me mostly Black and African women who are going after their dreams. In the days of our parents, our mothers gave up something to make their marriage work, such as their careers.
But now I see a lot of African young women who are going after their dreams and levelling the playing field.

At the moment, I get most of my orders in the US, and Canada. My store is open to everyone regardless of location. So, I am learning the in and out of owning a business and hope to to be established in Africa mostly in the Nigerian market. I would like to have my products on shelves in different stores worldwide.
